Nature-friendly illuminant

First, LED is a nature-friendly illuminant whose properties are the closest to the sunlight among all other light sources developed. It is capable of realizing over 17 million natural colors by combining RGB (Red/Green/Blue), and has a high color gamut. Thanks to these advantages, LED can be applied to a number of products in various fields.

Eco-friendly illuminant

Second. LED is an eco-friendly illuminant. It has low power consumption, and it can save energy by 80 percent compared to incandescent lights and by 20 percent compared to florescent lights. This is definitely an advantage in terms of global warming that we are facing now. European countries are planning to prevent the use of incandescent lights in response to the global warming. LED lamps have many environmentally-friendly advantages: it is mercury-free and relatively easy to dispose; it also has low CO2 emission and low harmful electromagnetic wave.

User-friendly illuminant

Third, LED is a user-friendly illuminant. It has over 50,000 hours of life time, which is more than 100 times longer than incandescent light and 10 times than florescent light. It is highly resistant to shocks and has short response time, which is only one-millionth of incandescent light and one-hundred-thousandth of florescent light. Despite these strengths, LED has not been standardized and generalized yet because of the insufficient thermal performance and relatively higher prices.
